I like Mateer.

Unfortunately, Nuss doesn't have the decision making ability.

The Heisman is a popularity contest and won't be decided until the final 3-5 weeks of the season. So it's really meaningless right now which is why Nussmeier is still the favorite after a stinker

The majority of the country didn't see LSU play last night so that was helpful. The majority saw OU win which is why their QB is now 10-1 with the 3rd best odds.

Utahs QB is someone to watch this year. They'll play nobody and he'll pad stats

Nuss seems like a great guy and throws a pretty ball. With the weakness at center (for at least a month) and LG, I think he will regress.

Also, given how great the LSU defense is compared to last year, I suspect Kelly will be much more conservative on offense. Nuss won't have another 4,000 yard year.

Yeah Nuss right now doesn’t have the stats to be even in the conversation. I would watch out for Dante Moore at Oregon but I can see another year a non QB wins it.

Daniels from KU is electric, I just don’t have faith that they can string wins together.

loliolol

the fricking guy went for 233 and 17 yards rushing, and was utterly useless in 2nd half.

Missouri ended that bullshite fantasy.

Two of their next four games are against ranked teams. I wouldn’t say “nobody”.

Its been 2 games. Mateer looked good but he beat Illinois St and IMO a 5 loss Michigan team. He also had about 4-5 balls that should have been intercepted, so im curious to see him week after week in the SEC.

I think it will be someone like Nuss, Aller, Jeramiah Smith, or even a guy like Stockton or Beck if their team is 11-1 or 12-0.

I do think its a year you could see a non QB win it

Dark horse is Raiola from Nebraska. Currently 57/73, 607, 6/0. If they can string together some wins and go on a run he'll start creeping up the board. They could be similar to Indiana last year due to a weak schedule.

Sawyer Robertson at Baylor is one of the few QBs that has faced only P4 teams so far. He hasn’t benefited from padding his stats against a rent-a-win patsy, and both opponents fielded top 30 defenses last season.

His stats against legitimate competition:

859 yards
7 TDs
0 Ints

He’ll have to carry his team. Baylor will probably be in a lot of close games, and probably lose several of them. However, if they manage to go on a run in the Big 12 similar to ASU last season, then he’ll be the reason and might start getting some hype.

Was he even good in that game? they kept going on and on about his resemblance to Mahomes, even his haircut.

There’s too many weapons on Oregon’s offense. Moore and Sadiq will steal some of the thunder
