Because of all the damn calls and texts I get. Is there a better way to check the value of a car without getting called?

You don't have to give them your info. There's a small button on the bottom that allows you to bypass that window

don't check it or use fake info.

If you are not about to sell your car why does it matter the current value?

Carvana will give you the price they'll pay you for it (wholesale). If you want a couple of different retail values that matter I can get them for you... or not

Check autotrader.

Or better yet, my buddy says AI is super useful for this.

I would love if if you could get me a value on a truck.

Seen 38,450 miles.

frick Carvana.

I went through their process, didn't lie about anything when filling it out. The car i was selling was in an accident, just a fender bender, less than $1000 in damage. I said that when filling it out. It had a rip in one of the seats. Said that too when filling it out.
They come back and offer $13,400 for a 10 year old Highlander.

I go to the appointment (which was at a honda dealership for some reason) and they drive it in the parking lot, go do some computer work, then come back to me and say they can only offer me $9,000. Said it's been in an accident, and needs new tires and has high mileage. I'm like, i thought this process was supposed to be smooth and effortless, this seems like a crock of shite. You already knew all of this before I came in. The squirrelly frick i was talking to tried to give me some excuses blah blah said $9,000 is the offer, so i laughed at him and left.

Went home and go online to Carmax and fill everything out. They offer $13,100. Load the paperwork they wanted online and set the appointment for the next day. Bring the car in, greeted by friendly people, they have my paperwork ready to go, ask me to drive the car over to the service area, go sit down and sign some papers and in less than 15 minutes from arriving they are setting up a lyft driver to take me home with my check for $13,100 in hand. Simple, easy process.

frick Carvana. And I have heard nothing but good things about Carvana before my experience, which is why I went that route, but frick them.

I must have caught them on a bad day. My experience with Carmax was exactly how you described it (even had a reported accident and minor dents), but it took almost 2 hours for me with a scheduled appointment.

You’re doing it wrong. You don’t need to request an offer, you can simply check values

It was. It’s in pristine condition. I just want to put forward a fair offer and the owner doesn’t want to bother with doing the work to get top dollar for it.
