I’m glad we are retaining him as of now. I do think that changes if Hc option comes up.

Baker is already making 2+ mil. Tulane offered Jon Sumrall 4 mil to stay.
So some number to consider…

With Pete staying at Ole miss who are the option at DC Lane will look at?

Baylor's AD is gone/bout to be and the president already said they're retaining him.

I get it, we all think of Tulane as the same ol Tulane.

The truth is they are a consistent playoff contender (we are not) and I dont think they have any interest in hiring a young coordinator. Especially a D coordinator.

They arent taking a leap on a coordinator, they dont have to.

They are going to find another up and coming HC like Sumrall.

Wow!!! The ONLY reason Tulane could possibly be a contender is the Group of 5 route. Look at their ranking. Are they above LSU? Yes. Are they remotely close to being ranked in the top 12? NO! They are NOT a playoff contender if they had to go the at-large route.

Shiel Woods at TTU would be my 1st call. Durkin would be a good backup

I'd say Durkin. He left Kiffin for another job but Kiffin didn't seem mad, he was just outbid and knew it. So I'm sure he'd welcome him back with a bigger pocketbook

The thread maker wasn't asking for your opinion on whether you thought he was ready to be a head coach, but thank you for your valued opinion.
