Trey is averaging 4.9 3PA in the month of December. A mediocre, for Trey, 35%.

I know we have been playing a lot better as of late but Trey has to shoot the 3 more. I’m not sure what the change with Borrego has affected this but it needs to get fixed.

BI is averaging 5.7 3PA in December, shooting 43%. Just saying.

It’s been a thing this year for Trey to pass up shots he’d normally take. I guess they’re trying to get him to get to the paint more and he has been better about that, but I agree he needs to get more threes up. Teams are also playing him differently than they used to play him.

If the choice is Trey taking the contested 3 or Jordan Poole, Trey needs to be putting them up.

Trey is getting face guarded the majority of the games and he's not trying to take contested 3s too often. It's the price of playing with too many non shooting threats on the floor. Teams will mirror him while sagging off everyone else.

Trey needs to be more of a spot up shooter and much less of a ball handler. He is not good creating with the dribble. There were 3 possessions in a row last night where Trey dribbled into a mid range shot and missed badly. That is not his game. For some reason they have him dribbling wayyyy too much.

Every team has someone glued to Trey's hip all game. And Trey doesn't have the strength or ball handling to bully the defender.

Yeah teams are definitely guarding him differently than they did the first few years. The team definitely needs more shooting and rebounding to match up with some of the better teams.

He is scared to shoot contested 3’s, or off movement/screen threes. He’s a stand still catch and shoot guy that prefers shooting from so deep that no one is contesting him. Outside of the rare stepback heat check. He’s scared of physicality or contact unless he thinks he can get a dunk. There’s been many layup attempts this year where he throws some bullshite up at the rim because he’s scared of contests.

They just got rid of BI and here we are trying to re-create BI. I swear this team is schizophrenic.

Can someone tell me what Kevon Looney's purpose is? I thought it was to provide rebounding but apparently it was only to warm Willie Hernengomez' seat on the bench (two years gone) and all his "DNP-Coach's Decision" listings on the Box Score. Or, maybe it was simply another crazy Devonte' Graham prayer by our brain trust that has gone unanswered.
