Did they not practice against the press?

We looked like we had never seen a press before and Mc had no solution. Inexcusable! Outcoached

Not only that, it appeared we didn't try and make any meaningful adjustments to combat the press, if any were made at all.
I haven't seen a single second of another aTm game this year. Makes me wonder if that's something they do all the time or was it something they did for this game specifically?

I have noticed McMahon teams have had trouble with the press but I didn't care this year because it appeared to me that Thomas could defeat it all by himself if need be.

Yeah. A freshman can’t improve can he. Reece made a couple of bad decisions which were the difference in the game. Not bad for a freshman starting in his first SEC road game. If he learns from this game he’ll be better for it. Wouldn’t expect a bunch of un athletic losers who’ve never competed in anything to understand.

I think we handled it well most of the game. Mcmillian loves to press. It’s part of “Bucky ball”. It wasn’t really aggressive until the end, but they changed out what type of press from a 1211 to 221 I believe at the end. It clearly took reece off guard. We could have used another time out. Poor execution.

You wasting your time. They know our PG was out for the game. I swear, these loser want us to be full steam with no injuries, AND to lose every game. They get pissed when we have key players out because they think this gives an excuse to support MM. The truth is, it was a pretty good effort. Of course we won't get Reed back....and hopefully PG will be back soon. But, those two are probably the most important pieces and both were out...and still kept it close. Doesn't matter though, the normal crew will be bashing MM.

3 times in a row we threw the ball into the corner and got trapped. You never, I mean NEVER, throw the ball into the corner when the other team is pressing.
