They are about to open a can of worms. Them pursuing legal action makes it sound an awful lot like Demond Williams is an “employee” of the university. Which everyone is trying to avoid like the plague.

Schools should put release clauses in contracts like they do in soccer. You want a player, pay up and you can have him. Win win

How do contracts preclude a player from re-entering the portal while it’s still open? Does the contract specifically preclude that?

Always bluster in these situations and nothing ever happens. Terrible for recruiting and no school wants to be the guinea pig in these types of cases.
