Spent months preparing for the operation but surely didn’t have a plan for what comes next. These people just can’t help themselves in their OMB hatred. It’s been shown over and over by predecessors that simply removing the head of state creates an immediate vacuum which is generally filled by the strongest thug on the block. Doesn’t occur to them at all that controlled opposition under threat of them being snatched themselves till the people themselves can balance the situation with help versus being dominated by outside forces. There is no easy way only a possible way which will eventually require narcos being dealt with but as there will always be another upcoming cartel leader as the money is to good

delcy rodríguez was most likely cooperating with the Trump administration before the raid on maduro. She probably accepted the deal offered and turned down by maduro. This hold the country together during the transition period.
