Super Bowl City

Saw the thread about St. Louis and some were floating the idea of saints moving there.
One posted that the nfl wouldn’t move from Nola due to it being the “Super Bowl go to city”
If the saints were to move it would be a cool trade off if the nfl designated the superdome the official Super Bowl location, just like Hawaii was for the probowl
They could build a superbowl museum and an area surrounding the dome dedicated to the superbowl that’s yearlong akin to the superbowl experience that travels from city to city
also guarantee the dome 8 primetime regular season games throughout the year. Maybe Thursday nights?

What?
Why on earth would the NFL put a team in a city where not 1 but 2 teams left….?

the St. Louis thread got me thinking is all.
They could move to the annexed state of Greenland for the sake of this thought experiment
Point is if they ever move, which is a real possibility.. that trade off would be tolerable

St. Louis is a shithole.
Hell, all of the cities on the Mississippi River are shitholes.

The Saints are not moving. They have a massive amount of fan support in NOLA and around the entire region. And with the equal revenue sharing model of the NFL, the Saints are very financially viable in a smaller market like NOLA.
The Pelicans on the other hand, completely different story. I'd bet they move within the next 10-15 years, if not sooner. NBA teams are much more heavily dependent on local TV market media rights deals and attendance. Pelicans being a constant disappointment for 90% of their existence on NOLA has eroded away support and the whole world can see it reflected in the abysmal attendance for games.
As in 2 random teams playing in NOLA every other week? I'm sure attendance will be through the roof for the Rams vs Eagles on a random Thursday night in October, right after the Saints were relocated.
