Well he will likely loose the House and will have to deal with being impeached next year, so he needs to get as much as possible done NOW, and I think he realizes this.

Actually I do not think Reagan had this level of success in such a short time.
and for sure - as much as the democrats hated Reagan, the vehemence was not nearly the white-hot hatred they have for Trump.
And certainly Reagan did not have the overwhelming cancer of the media acting as the prime propaganda organ.
To me, Reagan was the greatest POTUS of my lifetime - dating back to FDR - but Trump has now taken that spot.
I cannot think of anyone other than Trump could have accomplished as much as he has in the past year. And certainly no-one has ever faced the head-winds of corrupt opposition that Trump has had to navigate.
Democrats had been drifting leftward during Reagan's era - but ever since BHO they have shed any semblance of anything but full blown race to the bottom in accepting socialism and tyranny. This breed of DEMs need to die out and a new party emerge from the funeral. Or nation cannot survive with this degree of maliciousness and wanton corruption being supported to any degree whatsoever.
It has to be de-established and a new party arise with honest dedication to debating the issues and supporting the publics decision on what to do.
But that means HONEST ELECTIONs and an IMPARTIAL MEDIA.
