He’s not returning to Ole Miss. He’s a winner.

A winner?

Not too sure about that. I just saw him lose.

Do late 1st rounders make more than a starting SEC QB these days though?

I mean, I would take him over the guy who won the game

Yea his performance against Georgia raised his stock quite a bit and the draft is looking weak for QBs. Unless he gets offered something crazy to stay (and approved of course). NIL can be more profitable than rookie contracts, fricked up situation.

He threw no less than 3 pics tonight if Miami DBs don’t have bricks for hands.

A sobering question and thought. We are living in horrible times, imo.

Problem is he could come back and have a bad year like Nuss and drop to a 3-5 round guy.

He will have a bad year. No Lane, No CWj. And in the most crucial game of his life, he almost became DJ Lagway

He should be send parting gifts to the Miami secondary. Otherwise this game would have been over by halftime

The guy is a good QB. You have to give credit when it's due. He can't win the game alone.

Just because they lost doesn't mean he's not talented. I think draft scouts will be after him.

I haven't seen 1 mock draft where he's even in the first round.

You can say that but it doesn't make you not retarded.

He's good and I think he could go top 10 and maybe ahead of Dante Moore but if you think he's going above a younger, bigger, bettter armed 6'5" 225lb Mendoza then you're losing me.

The 32nd pick in the 2026 draft will get roughly $3 million in year 1 however the total deal is worth north of $16 million.

So let's say Ole Meth overpays to keep him and gives him $6 million for next season...he doubles next year's money but what after that? If he rides the Nuss Buss next year the $6 million is his last check from football.

That's quite the gamble with very very little potential increase in 2027 considering the staff changes in Oxford!

ANY sports/financial advisor worth his salt is sending him to the combine immediately!

Yep as our new qb will be making double the Saints QB.
Of course hoping the saints found the real deal a few years earlier than I expected. Crazy world college football is these days
