What’s funny in all this is that Kiffin built this program to where it’s at with great offenses. What held them back was lack of Defense.
So all the praise goes to the guy who was responsible for the shitty defenses?

Kiffin/Ole Miss had/bought a Top 5 defense in 2024. They also had a top 10 offense. Honestly Kiffin should get some flak not making a deep playoff run with that roster. Instead they ended the season in the Tax Slayer Bowl after losses to Kentucky, LSU, and Florida by a combined 13 points.

Yea took over a defense that was 110th in the country with a lame duck head coach and produced a top 25 defense 2 years later. Average.

Our defense was top 25 and could have been better if the offense actually made a few first downs every now and then.

Seems to me to be very hit or miss.
