Parking/driving partially in my lawn

Does this make anyone else irrationally angry?
If you’re a delivery driver or USPS, why do you think it’s acceptable to drive your heavy arse tires in my grass leaving deep ruts or ripping up grass all together
Does that two feet really make a difference? You’re still in the road just park in the damn road.

Do you actually own that strip of land though?

Is it your lawn or servitude?

Yes it’s my lawn. Who else would own it

I think we’re wondering if it’s like an easement or something like that.
If it’s right next to the road, maybe you’re required to allow public access?

I don't mind a tire on it as much as the full pull over onto the lawn along the street. Don't want a hot engine killing a grass patch. And yes, it's an easement, still don't want them to pull onto it.

I had a door to door Vivent salesman come up one dan on a Segway - except he didn't want to come up the hill on the driveway, so he drove it across my yard from a more level side from the street.
he didn't damage the yard or anything - but it pissed me off at the audacity that he felt it was ok to do it

The whole thing sounds trashy

Bury a landmine there, the problem will resolve itself.

Still better than the usual stopping in the road blocking traffic.
It seems that the way around here. So I’m guessing maybe order less from those who trample your yard and let the seller know.

Don't pay property taxes and see who owns it then

They pull to the side of the street in your neighborhood? In mine they just stop in the middle of the street and yell "it'll only be a second", if you honk at them.

Hate it when neighbors or whoever not coming to my house parks in front of mine on my side. Park in front where you’re going a-hole.

If you have a typical mailbox setup at the road, you do not own the land in front of your mailbox.

They respect my lawn too much.
Maybe try leveling up a bit.

You have zero authority or argument and all you can do is ask politely

I know, I don't bother saying anything unless they are working for me.

The strip of land between my sidewalk and the street belongs to the city.

If it is multiple times a week, put stone blocks out. Space them 3 feet apart. @ $2.50 each at home depot.

And yet funnily enough they never come cut the grass.
