Best King Cakes in Lafayette area…

In town visiting family this weekend and want to try a couple. My preference is just plain traditional king cake…don’t need all the flavored fillings.

I’m not a big king cake eater but this one stood out to me. I passed by a twins wedding cake version that I wanted to try yesterday but it was $29 for a pretty small cake.

Go to Costco and get a Caluda's if they have it in stock. That is the most traditional king cake in Lafayette, IMO. Great Harvest close second.
Keller's is very good, but it is a pastry king cake if that's your thing.
Do not step foot in Meche's. Yuck.
