US Directed Energy Weapons

Anybody read about this? I found this in Newsmax. Is it true?
Snippets from the article.
"Venezuelan soldiers were reportedly brought to their knees, "bleeding through the nose," and vomiting blood, according to an eyewitness account from a Venezuelan guard to the dictator."
"It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly, I felt like my head was exploding from the inside.
"It was like a very intense sound wave."
He added that as a result, his comrades were not able to fight back.
"We had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons," he said. "I swear, I've never seen anything like it. We couldn't even stand up after that sonic weapon or whatever it was."
The guard further described how U.S. forces were able to wipe out hundreds of fighters on the ground, without suffering any casualties themselves.
"We were hundreds, but we had no chance," he said. "They were shooting with such precision and speed; it felt like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute."
"Those 20 men, without a single casualty, killed hundreds of us," he said. "We had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons. I swear, I've never seen anything like it."
A former U.S. Intelligence source told the Post the United States has had directed energy weapons technology for years, including some systems that can cause "bleeding, inability to move or function, pain and burning."

My thought is they have to be very directed. At this point it does not appear that bystanders suffered from it. Now that may be because they were only used in military installations.
Trump did say we have the best military and it's not even close.

frick yeah- these and microwave weapons. I was hoping they would be used against all the animals during riots years back and currently against the protestors who won’t move

We’ve had directed microwave weapons and machines that can focus sound in a way similar to a projectile (both I’ve seen on old discovery channel military shows like 20 years ago.)
I imagine it wouldn’t take much more development to make a super high frequency sound +microwave cannon + wtf else to do this

I've imagined something like a good microwave weapon would be good for fire ants. I've dreamed I'd had it on a swing arm at the back of an F450 targeting the mounds.

The DEW weapons I have seen in my limited exposure have been vehicle mounted. I am curious as to how this weapon was delivered. It would be very interesting if it was satellite based. Aerial delivery is possible, but the batteries are VERY heavy.

Quite believable. And dirt-cheap weaponry to make and use.
And for those who believe their 2A stockpiles will prevent potential tyranny, unfortunately they are mistaken. Lead is useless against invisible weaponized EMF targeting and immobilizing. As in Venezuela. Or where ever.
