We tried those 1970's stars-and-script throwbacks for a short handful of games in McMahon's first season (vs. Tennessee, Texas Tech, South Carolina and Missouri) and lost each of those games. Haven't seen 'em since-- it became readily apparent that we lost the games because of the uniforms.
