I believe a lot of this money is going to fund terrorism. Any time the CIA gets involved these fricking weasels are going to start claiming "muh national security."

I'm on record, and have been for quite some time, in pleading to everyone here to recognize that that 95% of the GOPe are naught but controlled opposition stooges.
Names like Tim Burchett, Anna Paulina Luna and Brandon Gill are VERY FEW and far between.
The Establishment Uniparty is deeply entrenched and an immovable object at this point. The swamp doesn't just have a slimy substrate, but beneath that it has a foundation as strong as reinforced concrete and as deep as the Mariana Trench.
Wanna know who ISN’T swamp? Look at the very few who have actually put forth stand-alone legislation to ban Congress from stock trading and to enact term limits.
Recognize this and you'll be right in this boat next to me, where you're extremely pissed and also accepting that there's literally nothing that can be done to fix it- nothing that we're willing to do.

No doubt. The GOP if they want to be legit needs to make every member that wants to run for public office submit to a financial audit. These motherfrickers like Ryan, McConnell, Graham, etc have all got filthy fricking rich the same way the Democrats did. They are Republican in name only.

Demand an audit of the candidate and their immediate family for ten years leading up to their candidacy before granting them eligibility to run. And then, under penalty of mandatory minimum prison sentences, ban them from trading for ten years and no less, after they leave office. No exceptions.
This will weed out the greedy who only want to pad their bank accounts with insider trading money and legislative pork, and narrow it down to candidates who are actually wanting to SERVE THEIR frickING CONSTITUENTS and their great nation.
Any incumbent wishing to remain in office must also accept these terms at the end of their current term, or consider themselves disqualified at that point. No grandfather clauses. No loopholes.
Watch how quickly AOC and Eric Swallowswell and Eyepatch McNoname disappear from public office.
