Just go to Ross or Marshall's and get your active wear. Working out shouldn't be a fashion contest.

Old Navy has gym shorts that I really like and find to be comparable to the "expensive" brands.

Fabletics are my go to for gym shorts. Almost always some sort of deal going on to get them for ~ $20 or less.

I was anti-Lulu for years, then got a pair of their linerless pace breaker shorts as a gift. Best shorts I’ve run in and after three years, good as new.

For me, the quality is worth the price. Haven’t tried fabletics, but have tried plenty of others and either crotch hangs down, the quality isn’t good, or the lining is irritating.

Get on Amazon, and search for men's athletic shorts. You can usually get like a 3 pack for less than $30, or a 5 pack for around $40ish. They have every option from difference inseam lengths, to with or without the liner, with or without pockets, etc. No need to spend $25-$30 for a pair of shorts.

For a cheap option, check out CRZ Yoga on Amazon.

I've really liked my Oryx Outdoors shorts. Not as cheap as CRZ, but half the price of Vuori.

Ten Thousand isn't bad if you can catch them on sale. Under Armour can have some good options, though they change styles and designs constantly.

Hanes shorts are $7 on Amazon, and they last years of abuse

I have had Lululemon, Vuori and Fabletics.

I like the Fabletics the best.

for joggers, the G- Gradual brand off amazon blows away Lulu and others for men. tried them all, lulu, fabeletics, vouri, 1000, rhoback, nike, UA etc....not even close, especially for the price

i have not tried their shorts yet but will soon
