I’m just wondering if any pichers have really increased their velocity this off season

The work put in to increase velo happens pretty much any time that isn't in season.

This pitching staff is absolutely loaded with talent. Will be interesting to see how things shake out with the rotation and bullpen.

I have a relative who pitched for LSU. I don’t know the answer, but he said that his velocity was always highest at the beginning of the season, and by the end of the season was down about 3 mph.

Fall is not about velocity. It’s about mechanics, working on locating all your pitches in different counts, muscle memory, and staying in shape.
