How did we get to the point where its legal for an illegal to have drivers license???

I know, I know. You cant get insurance without a drivers license, so if we let an illegal get a license it will help my insurance cost.
Did we somehow miss point A, why is this person in the US to begin with?
And of course now you can register to vote with the DMV.
In California its now a touch screen process where you simply click if you are a US citizen or not and remarkably in a state where population growth is stagnant, this new process has increased registration by 8%.
And of course we use this list to automatically send out ballots, or supposedly send them out.
What could go wrong?

How did we get to that? Its simple. Democrats figured illegals could vote if they had a driver's liscance. They decided states could issue them and claim ignorance when it comes to voter fraud.

what amazes me is that perhaps 20 years ago Rush Limbaugh predicted this exact thing would be played out by the Democrats and he was right. I remember when he said it I actually doubted it would happen.

And they take that drivers license over to voter registration. It opens all the doors to illegality exist.

The crazy thing is 15 years ago, only two states allowed illegals to get a driver's license. Now it is up to 19.

When you are in the state of Georgia and see a vehicle full of Hispanics on a construction site with Illinois tags, you can rest assured that no one riding in that vehicle is legally here. Illinois has long been the place illegals would go to purchase a car, tag it, and get a US driver license. I'm sure there are other states that afford this end-around US immigration law as well, but I have only become very closely familiar with it as it relates to Illinois since that seems to be the primary source for licensed illegals here in Georgia.

The country's confidence in elections is woefully low. Why not require proof of citizenship to vote? If what Dem's are saying is true (requiring proof won't change outcomes -- which imo is bullshite), then why not get confidence back at the least?
