The War over JD Vance

Anyone else notice this going into overdrive on the right in the last 1-2 weeks?
I'm getting a constant barrage of overt or veiled hits on Vance from GOPe types, wishy washy Trump supporters, Jewish republicans, etc. Think, Erick Erickson, NRO writers, etc. Most don't mention him by name, but it's obvious they're trying to a) paint Vance as Tucker-aligned, radical, the face of the scary antisemite part of MAGA and b) drive a wedge (or imagined one) between Trump and Vance on the Iranian response.
This was always probably going to happen re: Vance, but post-venezuela and with Trump making moves on Iran intervention, it appears the neocon element is getting the knives out.

The problem for Dems is that Vance confidently and personally calls out the bullshite every time. He runs circles around these bozos

They see the end is coming for MAGA (as we know it) and the succession war is on. And I assume with Trump deciding it's time to go settle decades-old neocon scores, they see this as their moment to minimize the most likely successor.

Most is coming from the Israel First crowd.

the john thune republican party does want the end of MAGA. i did think it a little odd that TPUSA came out a few weeks ago supporting jd vance for president. why this far out? even before anyone has gotten in the race.

Beating a retard in a VP debate is not any indication he is ready for prime time.
I have not seen JD as ready for primetime. Nothing against him but he is there to get the support from Silicon Valley. That's how VP candidate selection has always been.

It'll be damn near impossible for Vance to keep MAGA together post-Trump. He has too much going against him.

The GOP would love to lose both the house and senate. It would be a dream.

The Trump Admin *is* the neocon element.
Bolton was on NPR this week fantasizing how Trump could take down the Iranian regime.

Trump's doing a good enough job on his own. Trump doesn't give a shite about Vance, he's trying to burn every bridge he possibly can. Vance will be an undeserved casualty. Watch Rubio bolt after the mid terms

They scream antisemitism at the same time they insert themselves into every aspect of American politics.

I actually hear you on that SDV. I think it's messy.
You have Vance and the borderline-Christian Nationalist crowd (or an element thereof) that is pretty radical but not full on ethnocentrist/blood and soil. And they're connected to the latter/Fuentes/whatever Tucker is today to an extent.
The people Vance and Co. may be inclined to push back against - ie, NRO Republicans who waive Israeli flags - demand Vance and others denounce that element, and they naturally don't want to give in to this purity test to nowhere.
And then you have Trump that isn't really aligned with any of it and when dabble in all of it when it suits him.
I don't really know who is out there with a big voice (who isn't an active politician) that can carry that Vance, renewed MAGA flag right now. It's certainly not Tucker, Shapiro, Fuentes, Kelly, etc.

I'm more convinced it's going to be Rubio in 28. They're sending JD out to get beat up on partisan domestic matters--scoring some points for the base, while not exactly endearing himself to the middle--while Rubio gets to be the foreign policy boss and Trump's right hand man.
To Marco's credit, he's done a great job with all that has been put on his plate--I can see why he's earned Trump's trust, I'd feel very comfortable with him as the next nominee and POTUS, he would win '28 in a landslide.
Having said that, they're going to regret using JD as the punching bag if Venezuela etc turns into a NeoCon boondoggle. Next President is going to be Marco, JD, or a Dem. Best to put both Marco and JD in spots where they will succeed.

Crowder has the chance of a lifetime to take back the reigns
But that Fuentes needs to go asap.
But I think Orange bad is lining up Rubio to take over JD as VP maybe
First Latin President is a tough one for tLeft to overcome
Plus Marco is speaking with all the World Leaders
And HHTM can finally blow himself

I agree with this. JDV has one hell of a tightrope / balancing act / gauntlet to run through.
Neocons think he's too far right
Groypers think he's CIA and a race cuck
Women hate him more than they hate Trump
If he emerges as the GOP nominee in 2028 he'll have earned it.

Does any of this matter?
We’re going to fight in the primary and then beat the absolute frick out of the Dem candidate come the general.
Nobody is going back to open borders and tranny shite.

He would run circles around any democratic candidate that they would put up given the current list of possible front runners. None of them could hold a candle to JD.
