Word around the football ops building regarding CLK

Dude has already made himself beloved to the staff there not just the coaches, but support staff, secretaries, janitors, etc. People are genuinely shocked how cool and down to earth he is after all the crap he’s had said about him (yes, some he brought on himself). I believe we are in for an epic ride, hopefully like we would have enjoyed if Saban had been here longer!

For starters, Kiffin actually shows up for work. Hard to know someone who is AWOL.

Every LSU fan should watch his 30 for 30. He is not as bad a person as I thought he was, but I like most, listened to the sports media and thought pretty badly of him until watching. He tried to do the right thing at Tennessee and was made a villain for it. He got screwed by Al Davis at the Raiders. Shoudn't have been fired at USC.
You get to see his side of everything, which is nice, because he never really ever defends himself. Is he confident and a little eccentric, yes. He is not a bad person, contrary to the opinion of the scorned lovers.

I watched that documentary before any of this came to fruition and you could tell he has grown through all the adversity in his early career.
He’s a different cat than most, and he likes himself a lot, but I think you can sense that his dad’s passing has really shifted his focus towards people and the relationships. Sobriety helped him a lot as well

CLK is what we needed at the right time. He is the one coach that understands and manages today's college football that has changed so much in a short period of time. Kiffin also changed not only his personal life but also changed and accepted the change in college football.

One of the reasons Ole Miss fans are so angry is because they legitimately liked him.

My cousin’s daughter, a Golden Girl, said he was very “nice” to the Golden Girls in his hot yoga class. That’s all I got.

He can become the GOAT here at LSU . No one has won multiple football titles here .
I believe that’s his goal .

Autistic weirdos can still be likeable, you know.

The 30 for 30 was eye opening for most of us.
For me though, when Saban started going to the mat for him, I was convinced there is more to Kiffin than what the media portrays. There is no way Saban would go out of his way to vouch for him and to support him if he was not a decent human.
