Watching Hunt Palmer reading off what a Pro scout had to say about Longstreet:
-Cannon for an arm - strongest in the class
-biggest hands in his recruiting class
-compact build
-passes have considerable velocity
-throws with a whippy 3/4 delivery
-plays in an up tempo offense that utilizes RPOs
-eye popping downfield throws
-can stick the ball in covered areas
-shows ability to go through reads
-twitchy mover that also presents a run threat on designed runs and scrambles
-makes defenders miss in space.

Sounds like Longstreet is good at football.

It's nice that all 3 QBs bring this.

Watching his highlights, he reminds me a lot of Chambliss. Probably has a stronger arm though.

Hell he might beat out Leavitt at this point.

He will likely win the starting job as he has all spring to work with the ones while Sam Levitt watches from the sidelines.

Did you guys ever think you would see the day where we are stealing California five star elite quarterbacks from USC?

A decade ago, I’d have committed anyone that dared speak that drivel. It is wild.

It’s gonna be tough for him to beat out Sam, considering he has zero starting experience. While Sam has been to the playoff. But we shall see.

One might say it was a grand slam signing.

What's even crazier is that Landen Clark said the furthest he ever threw a football was 83 yards. LSU got some guns!

With SL missing all of spring that gap might not be as wide as we think.
timing with the WRs will be crucial.

How about we just let it work out instead of doing this?

Clark has the strongest arm, Longstreet has the fastest release

You can see all this in his limited highlights playing as a freshman. He throws a really pretty ball. There's one play in particular that pretty much sums it up on his highlights. Look at the one where he throws the TD in the back of the endzone. He effortlessly floats it right over the LBs hands in the back for an easy TD. A few inches off and it's an easy INT.

One thing I will say is, I’m not worried about whatever decision is made. I don’t think we have to worry about any of that shite anymore.
