And why is democracy gone?
Really are you sure it isn’t because...
Such a removal of democracy does not happen in a nation of gun owners.
Once a nation removes elections, it trades ballots for bullets... assuming the people have any.
This is quite obviously a trial balloon, not a 200k funding issue.

Theyre too far in, I dont think they can vote their way out and their parties are too captured on both sides for it to matter who they choose in an election.

It's a very contradictory statement, but the facts are, continuing on this path cannot save democracy.
The laws and very consultation of this country have been and are being weaponized against the values of the country if was designed to protect.
Everything in excess is bad, and that includes freedom.
This country has a ideological cancer and the treatment might be more dangerous than the actual cancer itself but one thing is clear. Leaving it untreated will destroy everything.
