12 teams get into the playoffs. I don't care what the situation was the year before; we should always feel like LSU has a shot to be one of the 12 best teams in the country.

Everything depends on the O line. If they can get to where they should, we WILL be in the playoffs and in the hunt for the SEC Championship.

I don't think so. Even with this huge portal class I think we are still looking at a 8-9 win season in year 1. We are going through a massive rebuild and its going to take at least a year for everything to gel and come together. Year 2 and beyond we should be in at least the playoff talks almost every year.

I agree with this. While the hope is there and the possibility, the schedule and a first year system is just asking too much.

I just don’t see why people feel this way. The defensive system is the same. The offense is run by the greatest staff in the country. Ole Miss just rebuilt their roster entirely and made the playoffs. This isn’t 2019. I won’t be mad if we don’t, but I believe we 100% have a shot. The schedule looks bad on paper but things change so much year to year it’s impossible to know.

See i think the schedule is awesome. Bunch of exciting games to look forward to and all of the tougher ones are at home which is even more exciting

Absolutely. The way the schedule lines up, if we beat OM and AM we may not get another stiff challenge until Bama and we would be 8-0 going into the Bama, UT, Tenn gauntlet.
We could lose 1 and still be a playoff team. Lose 2 and sneak in.

The potential may be there but until we play a few games, we don't know if its a team.
