Didn't the English even have to change their name to Windsor prior to a World War?

quote:

“As a mother of a 25-year-old daughter who has Down’s syndrome, I see every day the unique joy she brings to our family and the continuing positive impact she has on others around her.........

“In England and Wales, around 90% of babies diagnosed with Down’s syndrome are aborted. This raises questions for the Government about the purpose of prenatal screening and a law which encourages this situation to occur.”

Now, Imagine you had Down's Syndrome and are reading this? How would you feel?

I would imagine they are screening for far more than Down's. Inborn errors of metabolism, Huntington's, etc. Many of these are devastating disorders resulting in growth retardation, major mental health deficits, and early death.

The question of whether to terminate a pregnancy when the child is known to have one of these conditions is a moral dilemma for which I don't claim to have an answer.

I will say that castigating someone who makes that decision as "evil" is more than a little self-righteous.

You have to know that NHS is actively encouraging these during consultations.

You are referring to the royal family. They are not representative of the general population of English people who are descendants of Angles, Saxons, Danes, Jutes, Celts, Normans and many other ethnicities.

The House of Hanover and Saxe-Coburg Gotha were of German descent. That did not play well with the English public during WWI, so they changed the royal family name to Windsor.

The king of England at the time (George V) was a first cousin of his enemy, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany. Czar Nicholas II of Russia was a first cousin to both of them. All 3 were grandchildren of the English Queen Victoria.

Yes, the entire population of England changed their name to Windsor. That happened. Every person in England's last name is Windsor.

White working class English people are good as gold, but stuck under the boot of the radical chic elite who run their country.

No, they're not. They vote for the various councils full of socialist and rape gang apologists in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, and the rest.

Which begs the question, "Why?"

Why is England allowing this? Do they not see the consequences?

They tried to get us to test for downs when my kids were still en utero. The implication being that a parent would abort if the test came back positive. I felt a profound sense of disgust at what I was hearing from a room of supposed health care providers.

I do. Not saying it doesn't exist, but I have never met parents of a child with down syndrome that doesn't talk about the absolute joy that child has brought into their life.

I find it cruel to bring life into this world that is relegated to living that way

Yes, you do have an answer and it's obvious. Try not to be obtuse. Let your yes mean yes and your no mean no.
