poa annua is starting to flower in my Baton Rouge yard. Bermuda in backyard and a Bermuda/Centipede mix in front. Any concerns with spraying the entire yard with the winter weed cocktail? Other options I have in my cabinet are MSM, Celsius, Prodiamine 65WG, or Meso 4 SC.

Atrazine (if Bermudagrass is dormant) or Simazine. Pre-emergent back in late Sept- early October - very effective for Poa.

Certainty is great for killing POA.

An atrazine/certainty combo will smoke it. If Bermuda is dormant.

It doesn’t appear to be fully dormant. I still see green and some growth, albeit slow growth. I better play it safe with another plan.

I've used atrazine in the past, and it helped to keep it in check.

I gave up because I have two drains that run through my front yard, and no amount of chemicals work on the poa annua that my up-stream neighbors share with me every year.

Doesn’t that grass die when it starts to get warm?

Yes - it’s a winter annual. Seems like around May though when it gets warm enough to start dying out, at least in the Baton Rouge area. But one is mowing their lawn pretty regularly by then so it’s not so prominent in the landscape.
