Forget playoffs

This upcoming season is now championship or failure with everything brought in.
Expecting big things. I wouldn’t be surprised if LSU opens as #1 and favorite to win the title

Good Lord settle down. This is a new team with new players in a new system. They have to come together as a team first before we crown them. Going to be some sloppy football the first month or so of the season.

not the highest paid head coach, highest paid OC, highest paid DC, highest paid QB.
the new NCAA there is no “this takes time to gel” those days are over. With the portal you are changing like 30% of the roster every year. Most of the players now are just one year rentals. Look at Indiana, teams turn around overnight now.
It’s not calling for him to be fired if we don’t win (if we don’t make the playoffs for some reason the seat gets warm), but I believe we’ll be odds on favorite.

Over half our team will be completely new with a new system one the offensive side. Could take a while to totally click. Get the 3 remaining targets we know of as of now and we will have the pieces to be really good. Think schedule is tough but most of the toughest games are down the stretch. Get through the A&M game undefeated and you have a real chance to come together and continue to improve and be a solid playoff team with a chance to make some noise. As we all know a lot of that depends on overall health and a break here and there too

I’m just curious about what made them championship or bust? In your opinion.
I don’t see it that way, but I’m not wholly familiar with the skill level of the players we have gotten. I’m not trying to be negative here. And I think that kiffin has done great in the portal. But I definately don’t see championship or bust.

And to think, Kiffin was offered the same amount to stay at ole misss where there is only modest pressure to win!
