The midterms are universally toast for the party in power.
Accept it. Move on. It’s not the end of the world. The House of Representatives was great to get the BBB passed but it’s not near as valuable now because no more legislation is planned. Democrats will do their political theater as heads of the committees and have no real impact on things.

Trump’s poll numbers improved last time they tried that with Ukraine.

How do we get a reporter in front of Trump to ask him point blank why this thing is still funded?
I hate this shite too but if nobody reports it then why would it hurt us in the midterms? Is the alternative to vote blue or stay home? Did the left vote to keep funding?
