This is a little known program, and one of the longest running, that gave money to "disadvantaged" business owners. Thankfully, someone in our government is paying attention. This strikes close to home because members of our community were actively engaged in the fraud.
Exhibit A:
TD.com: who else is vibe coding?
Here we have tech bros talking about how they used AI to code a program to find these government contracts to exploit.
Thank you Pete Hegseth, for looking into it.

Was he the most qualified person for the job?

When considering the want to have someone who will most likely do what the president wants, and adding results of shite they’ve done so far(like it or not), yeah he’s looking extremely qualified and well within some imaginary margin of #1 options.

Based on his performance so far? Yes.

This has already been done for federal DOT contracts by removing the DBE requirement for contractors and consultants earlier in 2025.

Yep, need to stop those small businesses from waste, fraud, and abuse so there's more for the big guys to steal. Raytheon (now RTX) agreed to pay over $950 million in late 2024 to resolve multiple investigations involving contract fraud, bribery, and export control violations, including defrauding the U.S. government through defective pricing on defense contracts (like Patriot missiles) and bribing Qatari officials for business. This settlement involved False Claims Act violations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) breaches, and Arms Export Control Act (AECA) issues, leading to criminal charges and Deferred Prosecution Agreements (DPAs) for the company.

And people wonder why Doge is not supported, Raytheon paying 950 million was pocket change it's one big frickin cess pool of kickbacks, backscratching and bribery , this shite is so embedded it ain't never gonna get fixed

How about this, now keep in mind they have already bumped the price on this project several times......
quote:
In 2024, all 110 delivered F-35s were late, with an average delay of 238 days.
The govt is fining them for late deliveries, WHILE STILL PAYING THEM INCENTIVE BONUSES ON THE DELIVERIES.

You guys should look through some of the parameters to get funding internationally through IMF, World Bank, UN, etc from the US govt.
They flat out tell you their primary planks for funding: global warming, lgptqrz, women and minorities.
Thats how you end up with these bizarre things you see us funding abroad. Some fella wants to study cancer in rats but he cant get funding. So he positions the funding paper as.........
The study of transgender rats behavior during climate change as to interactions with female off colored rats. And voila he gets the money so he can study cancer in rats, or he just pockets the money and laughs all the way to the bank.

Hiring Pete was a home run. He is one of the few people originally from Minnesota who is sane....and his childhood friend, Brian Brenburg on Fox Business.

Good stuff. All of these kinds of benefits need to end across our govt.
We need a list of them all to hold this admin accountable. Especially start with ones that help foreigners over Americans.

"Second, we're doing away with these pass-through schemes. We'll make sure that every small business getting a contract is the one actually doing the work, and not just some shell company funneling your money to a giant consulting firm."
