Obviously OL and QB groups are in FAR better shape than they were a week ago and we have loads of receivers.

For me it’s probably LB or (still) OL. Our LB room is really good on paper, but a bunch of average to good players - no superstars outside of Whit Weeks who is awesome but seems injury prone.

Similar for OL - I love the bodies we’ve picked up and there potential to have a great starting 5 in there, but that was the case 12 months ago and the group we fielded was historically bad. I’m more confident in our new OL coach (hard not to be), so am hopeful but will probably remain cautiously optimistic unless we pick up a superstar or two OR I start to get reports out of spring camp.

JMO. Tell me I’m wrong or what you guys think.

Whether or not we score 70 points before I get my consessions in the third quarter of each game. I’d really like to be back at my seat to see that 70 in person.

DT. Far too inexperienced depth. If we have injuries, we can be in a world of trouble trying to stop the run

OT and Edge.

Assume Reliford and Ross are your starting edges. That’s a total of 2 career sacks. Will never know what Reliford would have done this year, he easily could have ended up being our best pass rusher but still an unknown. Need a jump from these guys like Swinson and Jones made in 24’.

I assume top OTs are Weston, Strey, the Baylor guy, and Harper if they give him a shot at RT. I still maintain Weston is your starting LT if you miss Seaton. This is assuming he gets a lot better this offseason, but none of the other LT options are ideal on the current roster.

This scares the frick out of me.

I struggle to believe that - even with better coaching - he can jump from AWFUL RT to great LT in one offseason

Easily D-line.

Who’s starting on the defensive front?
Unless I am missing something , or some of the true freshman are going to be impact players from day 1, looks like we have a bottom third of the conference d line.

I’m always concerned about OL above all else. Got some great pieces but OL is bigger than pieces. Everything else (besides QB which I’m no longer concerned about) can be schemed or figured out other ways.

100% agree.

Maybe in Lane's system he can make it easier on OL in pass blocking situations with quick passing schemes.

The thing is that Leavitt likes to adlive in the pocket and extend plays to give his WRs more time, and a few of our WRs are best in the intermediate to deep pass game, which requires time to run the route.

If we can land Seaton or just a real quality starter at OT, I think we'll be okay.

Getting all these new guys to play as a unit on the OLine. And the development of the relationship between our QB and the WRs. I also want a better pass rush from our front four.
