When Kiffin headed here it was a bare cup at OL and qb and honestly wr depth wise. By portal’s end all position are filled with a lot of talent with potentially an another big name otw on OL(Seaton ).
This team has the perfect mix of proven portal guys, high upside young talent paired with a high quality coaching staff. Kiffin’s portal mastery paired with having the resources he needs to dominate HS recruiting should result in us expecting to have these type of rosters every season goin forward under him. He still hasn’t coached a game for us yet but I can’t believe I never preferred any other candidate over Kiffin this guy’s hustle and personality fits the LSU culture like a glove Geaux tigers !!

Correct but the coaching staff in place esp on offense wasn’t good enough many folks weren’t sold on Joe Sloan. I have 10 times more trust in lane Kiffin and Charlie Weiss to have the offense ready to put up points.

Some players will surpass expectations and some will underperform. It is really just a crapshoot. That is why it is so hard to win a national championship. All of the players, coaches and schedule have to be good at the same time….and you need some luck too.
But yes, we seem to have a roster that has good potential.

Exactly!
Most people have no clue what they are telling about, and only rely on the talking heads to tell them how to think

What depth? The OL is still very suspect and our DT roster is crap. Got work to do.,.

Havent seen too many of these new Tigers....their will be some stars, and some busts..
OL and DL are still the most important!

A major overhaul was necessary - players & coaches. Depth was severely lacking.
The talent evaluation was a head scratcher for a coach making $10mm/year with so many available resources.

Our DT depth is really good. Why do people keep talking like this? Our OL on the other hand, is very unproven.

What someone said about a previous claim is irrelevant to the objective nature of a new claim.
Thats a combination of something like 3 logical fallacies.

9-3 or 10-2. Together schedule but rlly rlly love the way the roster is coming together and some of our tougher games like Texas is at Tiger stadium

I think that's is a fair expectation and quite frankly it's what we should expect.

What you just said. While I’m excited about the portal and improving the team and some of the new coaches., the real test is, how does the coaches and player dynamic pan out, and will they congeal on the field and turn into a championship football team.?
Just because we have a bunch of talent, doesn’t mean we’re gonna win a bunch of games.

We're bringing in 8, and if we land Seaton I think we'll be solid on the OL. Unmanmielen is an option at EDGE.
