Miami of course waited to say that until they were ready to unload on Seaton and Duke qb. They would be at 10 million or so with just those 2

Until they can successfully enforce a limit on NIL a cap on rev share is symbolic only.

Why should cfb have unrestricted payroll when the NFL doesn’t?

Uhh how about Miami is paying $10 million just for Mensah alone. If Miami is having to pay Duke $4 million for his buyout and then the $6 million Miami offered him to come there then that is $10 million for one player. And that is beyond ridiculous and desperate. There is absolutely no single player in all of college football that is worth that much.

College sports is already a joke now, let’s just make it worse so it can be like the MLB.

Schools bad at managing a fake cap are whining now. Shocker.

I know LSU could still compete in a no cap league, but that is the last thing college football needs. It needs individual and team NIL caps. It's getting silly.

This would absolutely obliterate all but about 20-25 teams across the country. Which would ruin the appeal of college football.

These ADs are mindless idiots who never seem to grasp the big picture, or even understand what makes college football so special.

Revenue sharing is money doled out to athletes from a university's earnings from sporting events with a cap of $20 million +/- some. NIL is money from deals made from boosters/ outside sources of the university that compensate players for their name, image and likeness used in commercials, public appearances, etc.

I thought Dan did a good job as Associate AD while at LSU. Were there issues I’m not aware of?

I mean 20.5 mil really is too low if top teams are going to spend 5-7.5 mil on a qb every yr.

Please explain to those of us who think logically how those two are related?
