Why not let the blue areas have their way.

Why not redirect all ice to the red areas that want them and work with them? Then get super nit picky with the federal funding to these blue states especially sanctuary cities. Make their lives completely miserable with fraud investigations. Let them live with the consequences of their actions. That seems like it would the best way to handle all this in the long run.

Illegal immigrant populations in blue states are used to skew census numbers and provide those states with greater representation in the US House.
That representation is then used to force leftist policies on red states.

Simple, because the admin is more concerned with making political statements than getting as many illegals as they can.

I said allow illegals in 2 or 3 cities. A huge amount t will inevitably flee to these couple of cities. It would be a nice social experiment.

That’s definitely the strongest argument against this approach. I’d say leave but you have to be wealthy to do that and there could be multiple things tying you to an area so I know it’s not that simple.

Of course. Which is why I said you would have to get much stricter with federal funds to those areas.

I was curious why the Admin wasn’t sending the NG to clean up crime in Red States before (Birmingham, NOLA, etc).

You really think blue area voters would stay in their blue areas?
No, they are like locusts and this has already been demonstrated in many states that were once strongly red but have started turning purple.
The ones who can afford to escape the consequences of their voting habits do….and then often bring their voting habits with them.
