Looking for rechargeable car dash cam

I'm trying to find a decent rechargeable battery dash cam that doesn't need to be powered through the cigarette lighter. I'm pretty stumped here, any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Does it have to be rechargeable? You mention cigarette lighter but what about hardwired?
They make many of them that can piggyback off the rearview mirror harness and you don’t have to fish a wire through the vehicle. I just bought a FitCamX that integrates pretty seamlessly in my vehicle.

That definitely sounds like an option. But have you seen rechargeable models or those that use replaceable batteries?

A quick Google search found this:
Rechargeable Dashcams
I'd be wary of the cameras on that list. I have the Rove and it's definitely NOT rechargeable.
To the OP, What kind of vehicle do you have? On my f-150 I pulled power of the rearview mirror and it was super simple. It should be possible with almost any vehicle with a powered rear view mirror.
This is an F-150 example, but search youtube for your make, year and model.

Why not wired? I've done a Rove in 4 cars in the last few months, it's easy to hide the wire and make your way to power. In 2 of them I use the lighter, but in the other 2 I just direct USB to an outlet.

Get one that doesn't use cigarette lighter. Can use a fuse tap on fuse panel and some are powered by the OBD port.

Yeah the list might say "battery powered" but they mean car battery via the lighter port. When go on Amazon you'll see it has to have power through the cable.
I have a F150 as well but I don't think it has a powered mirror.
I might just go to a GoPro or something like that.

My experience is that the batteries don’t last long in the heat … I recommend getting a wired one and making sure it uses a capacitor instead of a battery.

What year?
Look on the back of the mirror. If there are any wires there, it's a high probability that you can pull power from that point.

They all have batteries and work with power off but not that long. You can tap into power source and hard wire them easily.
