Welp...get ready for another Grand Theft Auto VI delay

This game very well could easily cost between 1 and 2 billion by time they finish it at launch it at this point.
I am sure it will do well but theyre hinging their entire companies future on this and thats an insanely balls on the table initial spend which doesnt even include marketing which will add another 500 million easy.
In todays gaming climate where all is soooo volatile I am starting to question just how successful this will end up being for them

Those assholes will 100% use this as a reason for delay for at least another year.

I’ve lost all of the hype for this game. I’m 100% convinced that they finished developing GTA 6 years ago and that all of these delays are Rockstar trying to milk GTA online as much as they can.

Development cycles have become so long and delays so common that I just don’t care about the product at this point.
I understand that rockstar has a certain quality standard and level of detail that they strive to hit, but they are losing their cultural influence/relevance striving to achieve perfection.
I hate the insane time sinks that modern game development requires. I think I’d be willing to sacrifice length and scope to a decent degree just to get a shorter gap between releases.

It took us 6 years of vaporware allegations before we saw Silksong. GTA VI should be treated with the same healthy skepticism.

Whenever this game finally does release in 2028, y’all better enjoy this one because we may not see another one in our lifetime. I feel like with how much they put into this GTA, they will ride this one for the next 20+ years.
