Why has the IRS as well as state Department of Taxations not better investigated.

quote:

How Paid Protesters Are Compensated

Payments are typically handled discreetly to maintain the appearance of organic activism. Methods include:

Cash or Gift Cards: Common for day-of participation to avoid paper trails; some groups instruct participants not to report earnings to the IRS.

Checks or Direct Deposits: For organizers or recurring roles, often through nonprofits as salaries or stipends.

Reimbursements and Per Diems: Framed as covering expenses like travel, meals, or event costs (e.g., up to $1,500 per group for anti-Musk protests).

Indirect Benefits: Transportation (e.g., busing), lodging, or bonuses for high-risk actions. Critics argue this blurs lines with genuine activism, while defenders say it's standard for community organizing.

Compensation Amounts

Reported pay varies widely, from modest day rates to full-time salaries for coordinators. Skeptics note that high figures are often unverified claims, while lower ones come from direct sources like company CEOs. Here's a summary:

Type of Compensation

Day Rate (Casual Participant)
$100–$500 per day
Crowds on Demand pays "modestly" (under $500/day); higher for tense locations like conservative rallies in liberal areas. Some reports cite $150 for events like supporting Meng Wanzhou.

Hourly Rate
$15–$60 per hour
Job listings in MN ($18–$60); DC reports of $20–$30/hour. Demonstrator average: $15/hour nationwide.

Weekly/Per Event
$600–$15,000
High-end (e.g., $7,800 for 8 hours organizing); . Reimbursements: $1,500 per group for anti-ICE or Tesla protests.

Annual Salary (Organizers)
$40,000–$95,000+
People's Forum pays $75,000/year (base + expenses); up to $80,000 for full-time roles. Job averages: $95,899/year for "demonstration" roles.

Companies and Groups Involved in Hiring

Hiring often occurs through publicity firms, nonprofits, or job boards. Both sides of the aisle use them, per Swart. Key entities:

Crowds on Demand: Leading firm; organizes protests, rallies, and stunts for clients (e.g., political campaigns, corporations). CEO Swart reports 400% increase in requests under Trump; turned down $20M for "Good Trouble" protests due to violence concerns. Hired by figures like Monty Bennett for local advocacy.

Indivisible: Soros-linked; accused of reimbursing $1,500/group for anti-Trump/Musk protests; $11.7M budget.

People's Forum: Pays organizers (e.g., $75K to David Chung); ties to CCP via Neville Roy Singham; targeted for tax-exempt revocation.

Open Society Foundations: Denies paying protesters; funds advocacy groups complying with laws.

Others: USCPR, AFGJ (anti-ICE funding probes); CHIRLA ($1M Biden grants, riot ties); Rise and Resist; Threshold Giving ($25/hr for IRC advocacy). Job sites like Indeed/ZipRecruiter list roles.

Paid agitators are pretty much exclusive to leftist causes and the federal government is full of leftist employees. Hence why nothing happens.

One, poli board

Two, income tax reviews are usually a few years behind, as in, they are probably on 2023 right now

Three, if you have specific people with specific dollar amount, report it

Four, how much are we talking? What if their total income is less than 3k?

Five, don't be a narc (or see 3, there is also a reward for reporting tax fraud/misconduct that is then collected)

IRS only goes after people that have/can pay fines and taxes.

They don't GAS about those failures.

Seriously- post a link where somewhere will get paid to protest Trump because there is no such thing.

Kid Rock went in dry on these clowns.

KID ROCK: “We have this low birth rate in America.. Who's going to sleep with these ugly arse broke liberal women? Look at their rallies... A bunch of women no guy wants to sleep with & a bunch of dudes that want to sleep each other.”

Bread and circuses for the masses.

How many people are actively protesting out of almost 400 million Americans? A couple hundred?

Why can't you follow the rather simple rules?

Ad hominem attacks? Can't reasonably explain your thoughts, positions and reasons for them without attacking others?

Who is the real snowflake?

There was a pile of about 30 of these abject losers in front of Sportsplex as i was picking up my kids from practice. It was a good opportunity to remind them of why these people are losers, and why the Democrats suck so bad. My 8 year old wanted me to roll down the window and tell them that they suck. I told them, that we are better than them, and we don't do that. He replied, "But didn't you teach me not to lie". I then explained, while they do, indeed, suck, rolling down the window and yelling at them accomplishes nothing.

ETA: the demographic of that group was as you'd expect. Very old people, pink hair, 2 or 3 black people, a bunch of neckbeards.

just as a reminder: Libertarianism is about voluntary conviction, not subcontracted outrage. I would think you would be opposed to such a thing, strange.
