History says it'll be a SEC coach and the quickie interim failure rate is pointing a flashing sign toward the Landmass. If not him Silverfield.

Usually the promotions have the shortest leash, so I’d go Ole Miss

I’m going with the Dolphins coach.

Pete Golding will be out in Ole Miss in a year or 2. All that pressure of him sucking is going to build up and he'll fall off the wagon and get another DUI.

Probably Golding if chambliss doesn’t get that extra year, he won’t get a cushion season, just rebuilding from day one. He’s set up to fail

The 26 roster is better than the 25 roster everywhere but WR. My guess is Kiffin because 9-3's won't last long and LSU fans are quick to turn on their coach.

The new Raiders coach.
Since the NFL adopted the current divisional format in 2002. The Raiders have had 12 coaches. They're averaging a new coach every other year for over 20 years.
The Browns have had 9 coaches and the Dolphins, Jags and 49ers have had 8.
Data says that the Raiders will be hiring another coach before the '28 season. Due to the pecking order of current job opening, their players and history, they aren't likely to get this hire right either. It's almost certainly them.

This.
1. Golding was a "rush" hire because of circumstances. If OM isn't in the CFP when Kiffin leaves, Golding doesn't get hired. They conduct a normal search and hire someone else. He's basically still an interim HC...just without the label
2. OM is the jilted ex. That means there is greater desperation to get revenge and out-do the coach that left them. That creates an almost unrealistic expectation level for Golden if Kiffin has ANY degree of significant success at LSU. Good isn't good enough. He MUST be better than Kiffin. LSU fans were in that mode when Saban went to Alabama. In 2007 LSU fans loved Les because he was better than Saban and won the NC. By 2009, Saban had gone undefeated 2008 reg season) and won a NC...while LSU fell off from being a NC contender. The fans had started to turn on Les.
3. Now that OM fans have had a taste of success, anything less won't be satisfactory. 9-3 would be a good season relative to the last 50+ years of OM football....but it won't be good enough relative to this year.
4. The driving reasons behind OM's success during the last 6 years was the offense. The player's changed. The offensive architect remained the same, Kiffin. Now he's gone. To think the level of offensive success is going to remain the same is probably foolish.
The expectations and the demand to meet them are sky high for Golding. That means patience is at rock bottom.
