A good bit of them are getting paid to be there. Some are more enthusiastic than others. All money coming from NGOs who receive funding through your tax dollars.

They just got several truck loads of shields to use in their protests in Minn. In an earlier protest, in Chicago, an undercover reporter mistaken for a protester was told "if you're hungry we have all the ribs you can eat." Huge stacks of bricks were seen on several street corners there as well. Point being, there is a lot of money behind these protesters. Calling these protests a "job" is not a stretch.

Then it’s sad that he chose to bring a gun to a “non-violent “ protest. Especially when the opportunity presented itself to de-escalate by informing ICE that he was armed.
