High Speed Train Paris to Munich

Hello, what is the best website to book a high speed train from Paris (Gare Du Nord or Gare Du East) to Munich Central Station (Hbf i believe) ?
Need to book for 7/27/26 and i keep seeing different websites to use.
Anyone done this route/area before and know the best website to book and how far in advance you can book?
Looking for the fastest train with a morning departure.

I often use Google Maps to find transit options then book directly. For this route, Bahn.de would be the right choice. I would not buy them through sites like RailEurope since they sometimes don't have all options and they charge booking fees.

That site will tell you everything you need to know. Basically you should book direct though SNCF (French) or Bahn (German). One could be better than the other for various reasons discussed on Seat 61.

I've booked several times through RailEurope and have compared prices with Bahn and a couple of other sites and the price has always been the same. And RailEurope is easier to use and has more intelligence than Bahn. For instance if you want to go from point A to B but there is no direct train, Bahn will often not tell you how to connect. RailEurope usually knows how to deal with this connection. But it's been 3 years since I was in Europe so maybe Bahn has improved.

i use the omio app on my phone for everything, flights, trains, ferries, etc, and i love it

I've always started with Rome2Rio. Checking the prices, flights are not much more costly than the train, though.

Paris to London used Eurostar. Not sure if it goes to Munich though. I did speed check on it and we we’re hitting >160 mph

I'll be honest I'm not the most train savy, but I believe that the Eurostar is one of the only true high speed that crosses borders. Most of the high speed trains are operated by the country rail network they run in and only cross into the first stop across the border.
I know I just watched an Amazing Race last night and the high speed option had 2 changes, or there was a direct that had 0 stops. The high speed option did still save an hour.
So you may have to do something like High Speed TGV to Strasbourg. Then change trains and go from Strasbourg to Munich on a German train.
