Jada Richard evolving before our eyes

She was always talented coming out of high school. Now she's playing with pace, poise and confidence. Perfect PG for Mulkey’s style of basketball. Her and Fulwiley are both tenacious. Richard has some Tameka Johnson to her game.

Her game has definitely improved.

She's LSU's best overall player since conference started.

She is the key for a title run.

Everybody was disappointed after the '24 season that LSU only signed one commit, #96 overall player in Jada Rchard, after missing on Top 5 PG Jaloni Cambridge, along with Top 10 posts Sarah Strong, Joyce Edwards, Kate Koval, & Justice Carlton.
Jada has outplayed a lot of players in the Top 25. She'd be pushing Top 15 overall if you did a re-ranking. She's been the most consistent all-around player on an LSU squad with multiple all-around talents. She's been as impactful as Alexis Morris was for the '23 championship team.

She is ferocious! This pint-sized fireball is doing her fans and her school proud. What a delight to see her aggressiveness on the court, as well as her scoring ablility.

100% agree.
I am also very impressed with Grace Knox playing so well against SEC competition as a Freshman. The freshmen group have not disappointed.
Congrats young ladies, I enjoy watching this team.

I still chuckle at the Rantards who wrote this team off after the 0-2 start.

I said this yesterday. Her jump shot MUST be on. It's not only important for the points she scores but it puts SO much pressure on the opposing defense. She has improved a TON. Kim doesn't sub her like she subs everyone else. JR is her pet project. CKM knows the importance of the point guard. It's like having lockdown corners in football. Changes the entire strategy.

At the game last night and said the same thing.

She actually plays a lot like Mulkey. I think she's 2 or 3 inches taller, though. KM highlights are worth a watch on YT if you ever find yourself bored during an 8ce storm. She was tiny but one of the all-time greats of WBB through sheer ferocity.

Every year they've needed a couple "Come to Jesus" losses. It's fine to drop a game or two while figuring some things out. People would melt just as much if we did a harder November/December schedule and dropped a couple there

At any level of basketball PG is the most important position by far. She is the key to winning it all, no doubt.

definitely seems to be a healthy dynamic with this team this season
the petty off the court drama seems to have been eliminated

Knox was the #7 player in the country last year. It's fun watching her jump center, with her winning the toss up almost ever time. She's said she can dunk & is "just waiting for the right time to do it in a game."

I totally agree Jada Richard has really stepped up this season, and its exciting to watch her grow into a point guard with such confidence and poise. She and Fulwiley make a great backcourt with their energy and tenacity, and I can definitely see the Tameka Johnson comparisons in her game, especially in how she controls the floor and makes smart plays. I also think part of her growth comes from the experience of playing at this level and adapting to Mulkeys style. Even small things off the court, like how some athletes rely on consistent travel options Bnlboston Limo, for example, is often used by college teams for reliable transportation can make a difference in keeping players focused and ready. Do you think her improvement this year is more about her natural talent, or is it really Mulkey’s system bringing out the best in her?
