I appreciate what he did to flip congress in 1995 , but he needs to shut up now

Newt still thinks that this is 1990 and illegals will vote Republican if given amnesty.

Yes reward Biden for bringing in 20 million illegals by making them all wards of the state.
Rinse repeat when the Democrats win again

I'm against amnesty. But even those who are for it have to admit that it cannot happen without a complete overhaul of immigration, a completely shut border and major criminal penalties for those who cross illegally and companies who employ illegals. And zero benefits of any kind for illegals, including public school and healthcare.
Otherwise, we will have to give millions amnesty every decade and the problem will continue.

If it weren’t for Democrats, I would never vote for Republicans

They (RINOs) always do this.
This is like iteration 10 of the RINOs calling for amnesty since Tip O'Neal and Reagan gave us amnesty in '86 IIRC.
Newt just earned a nice paycheck from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce immigration lobby.

We can have that conversation in 10 years, after all benefits have been removed from all illegals. If they can make it here on their own, sure, we can talk about it.

Nope. We were fed this BS before and we were suckers. Keep deporting, keep restricting entry, cancel H1Bs, prosecute violators and restore the value of what it means to be an American.

LOL he said it!!!!d He said it in one sentence. Illegals that obey the law.

Ginrich is a parasite who helped accelerate the demise we're facing today.

Rush Limbaugh floated this idea years ago, if I remember correctly
•Make illegal aliens permanent residents if they’ve committed no crimes outside of crossing the border and the aren’t currently or in the future accepting any public assistance
•They can’t vote in elections for 25 years after they’ve been given legal status, including children already born and living here will have to wait 25 years too
•They have to learn to speak English
The thought exercise was that most 2nd generation immigrants historically vote Republican so they democrats would never agree this these terms. I would add that they can’t be counted towards congressional seats in the census

They’re here illegally you stupid fat frick! They’re criminals by their very nature!
I’d rather drive them to the fricking sea than give a single one amnesty. frick. Off.

1986 called, looking for its immigration policy.
That’s the reason why we’re here now.
No thank you!!

I'll be honest, I don't actually care that much if they're all deported. If I thought some measure of amnesty could be paired with the massive ideological/mental change we need in this country on immigration and what America is - fine, whatever.
I want them deported because I want Americans to grapple with and get comfortable with the idea that America is a sovereign entity that is justified in behaving like this. That we're not just some gameshow where if you sneak in you get free prizes and get to try and rise to the top. People treat America like we're the final level for the rest of the world to reach, and it's just not true. We're a place and a people and we should act like it. I could live with the influx if that mental shift could happen without deportation. But it can't.
