Jelly roll is absolutely terrible. Saw him open up for someone a year or two ago.
Kudos to the guy for Turing his life around but his performances are boring as shite and basically an AA meeting.

I've never seen him live so I can't comment on that but I think it's been more than a year or two since Jelly Roll has been the opening act for anyone. He has been headlining shows for several years now and is objectively very popular. There are a few songs of his that I enjoy but again, I've never seen him live.
