As a whole you are not buying AI?
Its a lot cheaper to make an AI commercial. All they have to do is bring the people they want into the commercial into a studio, get them to do their part then use AI to create the video.
I have my dog as a character on Sora 2. All I have to do is add the character and tell it what I want. I want my dog moon walking on the moon, I give details for the video to be created.

I feel like most of the commercials tonight have a budget of about $300. All easily made in some fat kid's basement.

Unfortunately I think it will end up being the norm for commercials. It just seems like there is more and more, but you can't ever recreate the real thing. Its one thing I don't like that AI does. With that said, it would be pretty cool to be able to create a movie, but I wouldn't want to watch one that's AI generated.. If that makes sense.
