The part of the year I dread every year! Seems like every year it was going up 1,000 or more. Well this time it only went up $200 so I’m extremely relieved. Are the prices finally settling down? Let’s hope so!

I shopped mine around after getting a renewal that was about $500 more. Ended up going with a new company & only had a $96 increase

I just got my auto renewal and for a 6 month term it went down $200.

It’s still crazy high but progress I guess.

I haven’t had home insurance in almost 8 years. I got tired of writing people checks for nothing in return.

The health insurance increase is the other nail in the budget coffin.

My house note goes up $79 beginning next month. I’m assuming it’s insurance

We moved from La to Az and our homeowners insurance dropped from about $5500 to $1700, simply amazing.
Auto insurance dropped about 50%

I have Liberty Mutual for home and auto. Both decreased this year by about $500 combined. Not sure why, but not questioning it.

Nope, my house is paid for and my net worth is over 2 million. I don’t see a need to write $2000-$3000 checks for a less than 1% what if.

Sounds like your neck of the woods has a shortage of billboard lawyers.

A fire would make the extra $200 a worthwhile investment

I did the math on my recent renewal. Four vehicles, 2 only liability. Ages 1992, 2008, 2010, 2016. And, I’m paying $500/mo. Got a teenage driver on the policy, so that’s a lot of it, but $6K a year is frigging ridiculous.
