Heard a story from one of these high school walk outs

Was talking to a family member who is a counselor at one of these high schools that had a walkout to protest ICE. One of the schools involved did not even tell their students what was going on. They announced that everyone needed to go to the football stadium.
They had them walk around the track and media was there. That night it was on the news that they had staged a walkout.
Parents were pissed and the principal (woke female) is on leave.

I can only speak for the Katy ISD high school my fiancé works at but they were clear that there would be repercussions from the walk out. Some kids did it anyway but it was a very small event. High Hispanic and black enrollment at this school also.
They sent emails to students, parents, and teachers to deter the walkout.

This is how it’s supposed to be. The whole point of a protest is to show your level of commitment by accepting the consequences of your actions.

Yes and I was glad. Told my son don’t dare join that bullshite. Fortunately he’s in 6th grade and already sees for himself how retarded liberals are.

Not good enough. Dismissal and revocation of credentials at minimum, with a preference for prosecution on grounds of invasion of privacy (students on film, news, public television). Gotta lock her up or she'll just end up in administration at a school in Minneapolis or Portland.

If these kids want to walk out fine whatever nobody will stop them but nobody should be forcing them to and the consequences should be severe.
If there are no consequences it’s not a protest it’s just an excuse to skip class
