Is it reasonable to think the dollar will crash soon and to put everything in hard assets?

No... Not really.

The dollar will be the last fiat currency standing. Wouldn’t put everything in hard assets but if that’s not a big part of your portfolio you’re doing it wrong.

It’s reasonable to own hard assets during a currency debasement situation…. but not because of a Dollar crash.

Invest based on your risk preference. Is it possible that will have a market downturn at some point. Yes. Will it come back up and exceed prior highs. Yes

I agree; I too feel like the dollar is trending towards toilet paper status. But I've also learned the hard way that I make money by trading exactly opposite of my gut,
I would go bullish on the dollar right now.
Two bullish dollar funds I am aware of are USDU and UUP. I hold USDU because it has a lower expense ratio.
Not trading advice. But that's what I am holding in my trading account right now.
