We (myself especially) spend so much time and energy being negative and shitting on everyone for everything (choke artists, traitors, Canadians, etc). Let's have some positive talk for a minute.

This fricking woman deserves to be celebrated. Old as frick, looks like she was rode hard and put up wet, but is an absolutely incredible, highly engaged mother raising two deaf kids, one of which has downs and somehow manages to find time to be the unarguably best in the world at what she does. I couldn't imagine the emotional and mental effort to be the mom that she is, and again, on top of that finds time to put in the work to do what she does in the sled. She is the textbook role model for American kids, especially little girls.

I have two spoiled as frick 9-year old twin girls who are about to learn about her.

Both gold and bronze medalists were American moms in their 40s

Cool to see

This is truly overcoming adversity.

She deserves so much credit, and I’m very happy for her.

She should be among the people pushed into the spotlight as a role model for younger people. Not politicians or rappers or activists. People with actual, remarkable accomplishments and stories to share.

She's had a good life.

Her Dad played in the NFL. She's got a doctorate from GWU. Married. Has big time corporate sponsors, and apparently, good parents.
