I don’t know why anyone gets bent out of shape about this. The food is delicious and everyone loves it. Black culture needs to own it and love it when white folk ask to eat it.

Maybe not all of them, but I can assure you that yours is not the only one.
I could make a full time schedule out of attending stuff like this and justify my pay check without doing any work. I know someone who does precisely that, and has been promoted at least once since adopting that strategy.
If you can't beat em join em I guess.....
