Cam Higby is at it again. He's found that the State of California is paying over 100 million to an organization to protest. Reading through the X thread is interesting. It appears that this organization is also involved in electioneering.

This has got to be illegal. If not, why not?

No surprise,
It’s a bunch of washed up lesbians and emasculated boomers cosplaying their hippie moviement for an extra buck.
Also think these “student walkouts” are just teachers and admin getting paid to do so

Some private donations from wealthy Democrats, mostly taxpayer funded.

The part that would be illegal is the electioneering. State government can issue grants to nonprofits that are engaged in protesting, but not to get involved in political campaigning or vote turnout initiatives.

When voters become tired of having their progressive leadership steal from them.

Gotcha.
It's not looking very good for Newsom.

The Internal Revenue Service has confirmed that Gavin Newsom is running a criminal enterprise.
Spencer Pratt met with criminal investigators at the IRS $800 million, given as aid via “Fire Aid” for Pacific Palisades and Los Angeles fire victims, never reached the victims not a single dollar while Gavin Newsom has his Section 8 secured through theft.
Now, you ask: where the frick did the money go? Well, NGOs including one called “Cal Volunteers,” an NGO that Gavin Newsom and his wife created.
And now “Fire Aid” has just stripped “Cal Volunteers” from its website (as a recipient) as the news broke. How’s that for a racket?

She's in there still digging in this thread as well. Apparently the organization is getting some nice real estate deals as well.

Imagine paying taxes that directly support protestors who, in turn, destroy your homes and businesses...that you pay taxes on.

Right. You know, if those protests become criminal in nature I would think that the people funding said protests could be held liable for that as well.
