true story: the owner's daughter got rid of her red BMW e30 and we bought it on a car lot in nashville 10 or so years ago.

found all this crazy shite in the glovebox about the Ark.

I was in the area and went back in 2020. I would stop by if I were nearby, but likely wouldn’t go just for that. You could go see mammoth cave while up there, tour some distilleries (if that’s your thing), etc…. That part of Kentucky is beautiful.

Replicas typically imply this.

While true, here, the item on which this replica is based isn’t real either. As globetrotter mentioned, I suppose going would be good for shits and giggles.

I almost mentioned in my previous post that I recall it being rather expensive, especially for a religious venue that you *think* would be as affordable as possible since profit presumably isn’t everything.

I don’t know why it’s so expensive. It’s a nice place that’s well kept and has a fair number of exhibits - I will give it that - but there are no elephants to care for or a Space Mountain to maintain.

I watched a video. They claim dinosaurs were in the ark. I heard it was impressive. But I wouldn't go out my way for it.

My 80 year old mother went with her church bingo group. They enjoyed.
I don't think it's a bucket list item for me.
